“The theoretical courses helped me be able to step back and the practical experience courses helped me hone my organizational abilities. By linking both of them together, I learned how to use the right tool at the right time and to ask myself the right questions. [...] I not only learned how to manage teams, but especially how to have the proper managerial style according to the age, experience or nationality of the staff members I’m talking to.“

André KAMIN

“When I was doing my internship, I realized how much I had learned at Vatel. When we had meetings with other departmental heads, each time I had to give a recommendation or make a decision, I applied the methods I learned at school: the marketing mix, a SWOT analysis, etc. Using what you’ve learned, your strategic decisions and know-how, that’s what makes the workplace somewhere where you can realize your potential, projects and dreams.”

Saman NOUROZI

“More than just a school, there’s a ‘Vatel spirit’ and ‘Vatel values.’ Human values that teach you humility, while serving others and welcoming them. Vatel made me a ‘hands-on’ person, close to the men and women with whom I work as well as a man who knows what he wants and who believes in his own values.”

“I really appreciated the Vatel International Business Game week, even though the results did not live up to my hopes. My taste for competition showed itself during this week and I learned a lot on how to lead a group when working towards a shared goal. In addition, that allowed us to use all of our theoretical knowledge and our experience when we had to manage a hotel or resort for a week.”

“Every day I apply what I learned at Vatel when I’m at work. Just like during my theoretical courses and my application courses. Vatel taught me to be curious and to know how to communicate with all nationalities. Very priceless knowledge, as our client base is made up of 80% of Chinese and 20% of Western guests.Respecting other cultures, standards and regulations; assiduity and concentration; autonomy and taking initiatives are just some of the qualities required to succeed in the job I have today.”
