Regional cooperation scholarships for foreign students enrolled in a French course in Mauritius.

3,000 euros per year to cover tuition fees;
A living allowance of 600 euros per month;
Student social security cover.
Description of the scheme:
These scholarships are reserved for candidates wishing to enrol or continue a course of study at Bachelor's, Master's or PhD level in one of the following institutions:
ENSA Nantes campus Maurice
Panthéon-Assas II
VATEL Maurice
Université des Mascareignes
This scheme is aimed primarily at applicants from the 19 countries and territories eligible for French development aid (ODA): Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Haiti, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, and Togo
Applications from other Indo-Pacific countries may also be considered.
Mauritian, French or bi-national (Franco...) applicants are not eligible for this scheme.
Applications will be considered on the basis of the following criteria:
The academic results obtained at the baccalaureate or its equivalent and any university-level training already undertaken;
The coherence of the study project and the professional project.
The applications are examined within the framework of a special joint commission bringing together a representative of the French Embassy in Mauritius, the head of the Campus France Mauritius and the heads of the above-mentioned establishments) which establishes, each year and after possible interviews (face-to-face or videoconference)*, the list of successful candidates.
Grants will be awarded for an initial period of one academic year. They may be renewed, after the opinion of the special joint committee and taking into account the results obtained by the beneficiaries.

Applicants' files should include the following documents:

The birth certificate;
A detailed curriculum vitae;
Transcripts of grades for the three years preceding the Baccalaureate level;
Results of the Baccalaureate or equivalent;
Results from previous academic years (if applicable);
Available results of the current academic year (if applicable);
University and higher education diploma (if applicable);
A recent evaluation form from the head teacher of the last school attended (the head teacher will present in a comprehensive manner, on the school's letterhead, all the elements of evaluation that will allow a precise assessment of the candidate's excellence).
